NKP Excursion On TPW

In the spring of 1980 the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society ran several excursions on the TP&W. These included freights, yard work and at least this one passenger excursion through Bushnell.

These pictures are a few of many taken where both BNSF and TP&W pass under Illinois 41 a couple of miles south of Bushnell. The train stopped here and let people off for pictures, backed up and made a pass.

The next to the last two pictures were taken in Bushnell and the final was from Illinois 9 just west of town.
