The
south end of what we cover, Beardstown is located south of the Illinois
River. The bridge is viewable from the levee, parking is available in
a public park with many trees. The yards are south of IL 121 and difficult
to photograph. The old CB&Q roundhouse still exists and is used by several businesses.
